Cecil:Thanks, what's your name?
Me: Blah blah blah
Cecil: And what do you play?
Me: I have played several instruments, I'm currently learning to play the guitar, but I have played bass, flute, trumpet, and drums.
Cecil:...and the drums...wow.
Me: Yeah
Cecil: Well, stay well man (extends his hand and we shake hands)
Me:You too.

14 years old, and not only have you seen Cecil Taylor perform, but have met the man himself.

All I have to say is, you lucky little bastard!

I've been a Taylor fan for over a half decade now and I've yet to attend a performance, and given my luck, the man'll kick the bucket before I get the chance to.

In any case, glad you enjoyed the show.

Nice and optimistic of you.

Since you're being so optimistic, I will rub it in a bit and say, you forgot one important point. It was his first live performance!

Oh, don't take it the wrong way. I'm just stuck in this bitching mode from being behind on deadlines and extreme lack of sleep; not to mention getting over strep throat. Geryon's evening just made it worse, though. Now I'm bitter/bitchy and jealous!

Fine, but just to let you know, you're about 7 posts away, from my losing in the RM office pool.

Not that I am trying to rush you or have the judges at home think, that I am throwing a monkey wrench into the RM office pool, but YO!
