Mmm, he's quite different from what you usually seem to listen to...

"Eternal Life" is one of my favourite songs by him, the live version from Mystery White Boy is really rocking... "Dream Brother" is a bit more ethereal but really good as well...
others: "Mojo Pin", "Grace", "Vancouver", "Morning Theft", "Witches' Rave", "Haven't You Heard", "Everybody Here Wants You",...

His best known song is probably "Hallelujah" (originally by Leonard Cohen), but I've heard that one a bit too much... and I find it a bit too slick sometimes, maybe...

Favourite singers male:
Tom Waits, Frank Black (Pixies), Elliott Smith, Tom Barman (dEUS), Mark Linkous (Sparklehorse), Maynard James Keenan (Tool), Cedric Brixler (At The Drive-In/The Mars Volta), Armistead Burwell Smith & Rob Crow (Pinback), Nick Drake...

Favourite singers female:
Marie Daulne (Zap Mama), Nina Persson (The Cardigans/A Camp), Orenda Fink & Maria Taylor (Azure Ray), Emma Härdelin (Garmarna), Sanna Kurki-Suonio (Hedningarna), Bianca & Sierra (CocoRosie)...

Thumbs up Best Singer

I'd have to say Paul Rogers of Free and later, Bad Company gets my vote for best singer.

You wound me, Folcario.

Actually, I'd agree that their cover of "Come To Daddy" wasn't spectacular, but the rest of the EP, for what it is, is fantastic -- his vocals are a perfect compliment to DEPs music.

rofl ok ok sorry for wounding you seba. but seriously I'd have to say that vocal's wise I liked DEP's old singer better then Patton, and I haven't heard their new singer but I did hear that at a show he took a shit on stage and said "This represents all of the bands that played before us" and then rocked out. That is DEP style!
