Question What program is best?

Right now I use Rebirth to make drum loops , then I import them in Cubase, where I add the synth and vocals.
I've read here that many uses something called Reason, what kind of program is this? Is it the same as Cubase perhaps, or maybe even easier..?

No Reason is more like Rebirth than Cubase. I use Fruityloops to make all my beats and loops, even oneshots. I also use AcidPro which is alot like cubase.

Cheers,

Reason is a less of everything type of program. It has drums, samplers, sequencers, synths and effects (virtual rack). But each module is somewhat limited, but I can imagine it to be inspiring to use it. The sound quality is the same as rebirth, since it`s also made by Propellerhead.

Cheers,

Unhappy

Ohhhhh! A Mac! Great for multimedia, but unfortunately FruityLoops and AcidPro are Windows OS. Sorry, I'm sure there's tons of compatible mac software for music out there.

Cheers,
