wavelab converter

I didn't really know where to put this. I'm using wavelab, to add my voice to a song papa_magotchi created and it's going great, but now I've saved the file as .mon (as in audiomantage) and I want to convert it to something more common, can anyone help me with this?

Can you not save as .wav using Wavelab?

That is the best option...then you can convert to mp3 and whatnot.

That doesn't make sense to me...Wavelab is a Steinberg product (then Pinnacle, now Yamaha apparently) and Steinberg always deals with .wav

Have you tried asking how to save as .wav on Cubase.net? They have a special section for Wavelab users.

http://forum.cubase.net/cgi-bin/cubase.net/Ultimate.cgi

...third section down...maybe try the search function first...

MAYBE BEFORE THAT try this...You need to click on the "render as" button which is the to the functions button at the top of your audio montage.

Groovey!

Did a quick google search, couldn't really find anything... I was just thinking, maybe you need to render it rather than saving it. Is there a render button/option somewhere?

I looked around a bit at the cubase forum... it was a quick look but from the thread titles, it sounded like people had just make a mp3 file straight from wavelab... , I haven't even seen the program but it sounds like a audiomontage is the wavelab file format. I'm pretty sure there must be a render option or save as... or something like that...

maybe not into a .mp3 but .wav.
