Perfectly written songs...

What songs, that when you heard them, hit you as being 'perfectly written'? Or has a song never hit you that way?

Some of the ones that worked that way for me are on the mellower or 'cleaner' side as the lyrical content really seems to stand out more on those but I've heard some from many different genres.
Some that come to mind that are not so obscure:

Dogs And Thunder by Weeping Tile (written by sarah Harmer)
The Hideout by Sarah Harmer
Like Catherine by Lin Elder
Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix
Ballad Of Hollis Brown by Bob Dylan
California Dreaming by The Mammas And The Papas
Pride by U2
Light Up The Sky by Van Halen
Tom Sawyer by Rush
Message In A Bottle by The Police
Suite Sister Mary by Queensryche
Good Times Bad Times by Led Zeppelin
Communication Breakdown by Led Zeppelin-some would say without a 'bridge' it can't be perfect but some songs have everything that they need...just as some songs don't have a Hammond organ.
Stairway To Heaven (Yes, I said it) by you-know-who
I'm going to leave out the other 10 perfect Led Zeppelin songs.
Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Children Of The Sea by Black Sabbath
Thirty Days In The Hole by Humble Pie
It's Not The Spotlight by Beth Orton
The Oddyssey by Kyuss
Cemetary Gates by Pantera
This Love by Pantera
Fade To Black by Metallica

Hard to say anything is perfect but the closest thing to me would be the entire Pink Floyd DSOTM album.

Nice choice but I'd say the same thing about The Wall...I just didn't want to push a whole album!!

I also thought of a couple of others...

Nothing Compares To You by Skinhead O'Connor (written by Prince)
When Doves Cry by Prince
Strawberry Blonde by Ron Sexsmith
Hunger Strike by Temple Of The Dog <----------------------MAN I love that one!!
