Voivod

Anybody old enough to remember Voivod? French Canadians who were so before their time. A lot of these nu-metal acts probably drew some influence from them. They played some very technical, high-energy speedmetal with scientific-fantasy lyrics. Pick up Dimension Hatross or Nothingface for what I feel was their peak.

Holy! yeah I remember them very well! I'm from quebec! And you won't belive this..... "Blackie" the bassist moved into that band and I took his place in the other "unknown" band that he used to play in. My band used to play in the same Jam warehouse as they did, so I got to hear them jamming through the walls every friday night.
