it's a pretty good listen, and a very odd one, but what can be expected?

black antlers is really good. best coil in a long time. not that i didnt like their "moon music" but this is back to earth, more melodies and upfront structure. good stuff.

Hmm. More like their early Scatology/Horse Rotovator stuff, or is it still pretty ambient? I've liked everything I've heard by them, which is almost their entire catalogue, so I'll probably check this one eventually either way. I'm really dissapointed that there will only be one more Coil release. RIP Jhonn Balance.

its a good mix, its more ambient than the early stuff, but much more melodic and listenable. i like the early coil material better as well, and i enjoy black antlers very much.
back to the top of 2004, im starting to dig the displacer album more, now that iv listened to it.

really nice minimal mix of varied stuff from mika vainio to arvo paarv, really really nice work, definately one of the best works I heard this year.

im really digging displacer - arroyo now. didnt like it very much at all, at first. now i think its tied with moon_phase and may even rise above. great album. i guess the reason i was turned off at first was that i was expecting the kind of sparse, ambient kind of soundscapes that were on the previous album.

yeah, Mike has stepped away from the music he did with Moon_Phase. That album was purely inspired by Trace, but I felt like it was a whole emptier than Arroyo. Check out the new mp3 download album on M-tronic. It's a good one...
...also look out for the new Ch-District album coming out next month.

yeah, i didn't like this album at first, but it grew on me so much that I couldn't quit listening to it. Very good stuff. I know you like ambience David, see if you can find his "Darker Still" album. You can actually buy it for $2.00 on en: peg digital's website at http://www.enpeg.com/termsofuse.php
