8) Kings of Convenience - Riot on an Empty Street
9) Wagon Christ - Sorry I Make You Lush
10) The Album Leaf - In A Safe Place

This list is tentative because I have not heard all of the following two albums which I expect to enjoy immensely:
cLOUDDEAD - Ten
Arovane - Lilies

nice list you have there. I actually thought the Telefon Tel Aviv would make my top album list at the very beginning of the year, but it lost it's flavor with me very quickly. I even wrote a shit review for it on absorb.org

Glad we agree on at least a few albums. The Wagon Christ album was good, but I felt like it was a bit boring, even for Luke Vibert's standards. I actually liked his Kerrier District material better this year. The Album Leaf and Diplo albums were pretty good, but just didn't catch me. The stuff on Leaf this year (including Murcof's "Utopia" and Icarus's "I tweet the birdy electric") was very good, but i guess i just outlooked the majority of it for my list.

That Blockhead release was pretty good, but again, kind of bored me. The only great release by Ninja Tune this year I felt was the Skalpel album, therefore making my list. I wasn't a huge fan of Rjd2, but maybe I should give that album a listen.

...and oh yeah, I was VERY disappointed in that Clouddead release. It has nothing on their self-titled release...NOTHING!

but hey, most of my list was personal preference too, but I also try to mix it up for what I know is good, not what I "think" is good

I hear you with the Blockhead and Wagon Christ albums, I thought they asre simply "Good" as a whole, but I don't think I've gone very long without wanting to hear Blockhead's "Insomniac Olympics" and Vibert's "Shadows". I'm still a big fan of the more "accessible" electronic stuff.

RJD2 is my top mostly because I completely enjoy EVERY song on the album, without exception. I also saw him spin live this year... which greatly increased my appreciation for him.

I haven't had the Diplo album for very long, and I still like it more every time I hear it. So it's possible that it would make my list if I had picked it up sooner.

Honorable mentions to my list would have to be Christopher Willits "Pollen" cd and Unit's "i came here to tell you how it's going to begin"

That's an excellent and diverse list.

Out of your top ten, which I am considering.

Bitcrush- Enarc
Aoki Takemasa- Simply Funk
Enduser- From Zero
Max Richter - The blue notebooks
Pan Sonic - Kesto (234:48:4)
Fennesz- Venice

You don't have to thank me

I was going to put Displacer's on my list but failed to do so because I had a lot of others I was thinking of, and I thought the I:gor album just wailed all over the place, I loved it, but also loved the Displacer album because it reminded me a lot of Gridlock/Bitcrush.
