Thanks DeltaBlues and Pogo!

I'll check them out soon.

I had a bit of a listen to Cinematic Orchestra. They're not too bad but do you know anything with a bit more bass in it? I still haven't got quite used to them though so I can't say what I really think of them yet.

Cheers people!

Talking Funky Jazz

Fela Kuti is some african funky-jazz. Also some Jimmy Smith(early sixties soul jazz) is very funky. Richard "groove" Holmes is also funky at times. If you come across anything else let me know about it.

KK Null was in a band called Zeni Geva. KK is out of Japan. Fela is from Ghana, Africa in the 70's. Fela HImself is dead, but his son, Femi Kuti, lets out electronic music.

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

Thanks boRa! I'll have to have a look at it.

Good luck with trying to find Regurgitator! I thought it might be a bit hard to find over in Turkey!
