Okay Joe, I have heard of the track, and the one that instantly came to mind is by PPK. I downloaded it myself and it seemed to fit your criteria. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgable when it comes to house music and I can't think of anything else that comes close. You got me stumped, bro.
Good luck!

Angry Damn

I just downloaded again PPK - I Have a Dream and guess what... no luck

PPK is trance and has a very distinctive sound, specially a little synth sound which is what made ppk world famous with the song Resurection as you will remember.

... i wanna cry

maybe we'll never know

If anyone else wants to give it a shot, please do

don't you have another extract of the song? I guess you're not looking for that song only because of these few rhythmic measures, are you?

well, the problem is that i heard it in a Club some days ago (many days actually) on a thursday and i heard it and i loved it (i really don't know why, maybe i was drunk ) and i uploaded that sample just to show you the aprox tempo, and where the MLK samples where placed (every 32 beats or so), and what words the sample contains (ie: it doesn't contain any other words from the speech).

I went to that club 2 days ago but there was another DJ, i asked him and he said he didn't know (or he didn't wanna tell me), maybe i'll go today just to ask the other DJ but i'm affraid he'll be reluctant to give me the name... i guess that's my last chance

If he tells me, i'll post it here as a proove that i'm not crazy :P

I'll take any other sugestions in the meantime

Cheers!

Well... this thread is more than two years old and probably nobody cares by now... if someone ever did lol!!! but I've found the song!

It's pathetic... took me more than two years to find a song I heard while drunk on a dance club I don't even remember and doesn't even exist anymore...

Well the song is "Now is the Time!" performed by "Frank Garcia & Sergio Serrano"

Cheers!
