i have a feeling it will only be a 2 cd format. And i find it less than impressive though. I liked his analogue bubblebath shit more, I guess i'm just weird.

The only thing that will go "high" is the Analord 10 because of it's high demand and limitation.

Nah, I agree, it's not that special. Dunno if it's cause of the price or what, but I kinda can't be bothered with RDJ much anymore. Fuck him, I'll keep downloading what I like.

Even if a cd does comes out, I'll steal it out of spite...

right on. i'd be all over a 2 disc version. never really did get into the bubblebath stuff which is probably why i dig this newer stuff. then again i also find it quite reminiscent of SAW1 stuff and i really dug that disc too.

i'd like to get into some of James' earlier stuff, but besides Drugks i just can't say im a big fan. i mean he's a creative guy and all, but im more of the boring abstract kind of guy.

i never got into James' work, maybe it was his album covers but i found him and his music way to bizarre and freakish.

select ambient works is his only material i listen to.

It's probably safe to say that RDJ is a kind of bridge between rock/metal/whatever and electronic music. You'll find a heap of people who got into electronic stuff this way, myself included, though it's hard to say why. Maybe it was his smartass/prodigy/genius persona, but that gimmick is as boring as fuck now...

At one point 90% of what I listened was metal from Black Sabbath to Napalm Death, Motorhead, Slayer and Sepultura included.

I don't like RDJ for the same reasons I don't like Mike Patton and Lester Claypool, or Frank Zappa....narcisist funny geniuses.

I've been shot down... there goes my amazing Dick James theory, I spent years perfecting that

Can you not still order the rest of the 'analord' series on vinyl from the distro?
