I can certainly handle them, I just don't agree with them and I happen to dislike it when you get into arguments with fourteen year olds on the internet over really nothing at all in the first place.

And I won't take you seriously because you think a person's age should make their opinion less important.

Geryon, just for the record I had no idea you where 14, your post on here make it seem like you are much older. You act much more mature than some a lot older than you. You are one of the better posters on here for sure and I always enjoy reading your post.

It is just a fact of life, with age comes wisdom and the only way to rush it is to experience, which in turn builds character. That is what I believe makes a person more than another one. Another belief I have is that everyone judges by age, it is hard not to.

I'm sure he just got off on that, if you havn't noticed he has a pattern, though I doubt even he knows it.

So by your own logic, you had absolutely no room to argue with Field Hippy in the first place. I'm guessing wildly here that he's probably at least twice your age -- how old are you anyway?

I should have figured you'd wind up here. I'm 19, but for all you know I could be a very experienced 19 year old, which if you read my post correctly, is the loophole.

I see what you mean but I don't think this applies to what is happening here. I know that "with age comes wisdom". However, I see this as meaning that wisdom comes with age because of the experiences that a person has as they age, not simply because they are old. Therefore, a 45 year old man who has extremely little experience with music would likely not be seen as wiser MUSICALLY than say a 14 year old who is relatively experienced with music (I say relatively because most of the people my age are even less experienced with music than me and thus compared to them I may seem more experienced). In other words, being that you stated that your opinion of me and your general attitude toward my contribution to this forum was based on my age only I disagree. However, if you had said "I won't take you seriously because of your lack of experience with music" I would not have a problem with this. Also, I would like to apologize for my what I said earlier about you -jez, I am sorry that was completely uncalled for.

Well thats what I just directed to seba (your first sentence). As for being musically experienced, well I don't feel that should be any sort of competition, and that is why I am annoyed that new members are bombarded by comments (from people like hippy) of not only dissaproval but are actually being flamed for their tastes -however simple they may be-.

Would you consider somebody your age that listened to frank sinatra and the like more musically experienced than yourself? If you can answer that your just foolish in my book.

I may be wrong but it just seems like Jez- was looking for an argument in this thread. And as Seba said I am almost twice as old as you. Age is just a number as far as I'm concerned. I have seen young people that suprised me by how mature they are and I have seen older people that acted inmature. It all depends on the person the way I see it.
