Actually, I was thinking about something along these lines a few month ago, as far as physically hearing things in your head. I went to the dentist for one of those clean-ups that use sonic vibrations and I could actually hear and feel the sound going through my entire skeleton and reverberating in my scull. It was incredibly noisy, but I found myself amazed at the sensation and how it would be to "feel" music in that way. It's a completely different process, I know, but I'm just wondering if it's a similar sensation.
