Christmas Music -- what do you like

I've been listening to a ton of Christmas music for the past few weeks... What are some of your favs???

Some of mine are:

"O Holy Night" by Perry Como (yeah, I know, he was one square dude, but his version is
awesome)...

"Little Drummer Boy" by Bing Crosby and David Bowie (an amazing duet)

" Sleigh Ride" = (there are several versions I like; Arthur Fielder's with the Boston Pops is great,, but I think my favorite is by the surf band The Ventures)...

This year I have really been getting into the Andy Williams version of "It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year"...

I can tell you what I don't like:

When slimy pop stars like Jessica Simpson get their hands on these classic tunes and absolutely molest them. It's sacrilege.

There's so many classy Christmas recordings from the past that I love...I might need to think this one through for a day or two...

I only like one christmas song and I like many different versions.

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

I listen to Frank Sinatra's most, and I find Aimee Mann's most disappointing.

This year I've already had my fill of 'Divas' of limited range singing standards with generic 'modern' arrangements. They sing every note in their range in every bar of every song. I get tired just listening to them!!

SO, I like the laid back stuff this year!
Satchmo, Der Bingle, anybody who's voice has some furshlugginer character!
I haven't heard 'Mele Kelikimaka' yet this year. Always liked that one.
