alone - nobody around here gives a shit for anything un-top 40. and if its not top 40 its probably indie rock or something....

sometimes i try to expose my friends to various stuff, its not like they turn it down or come out and say they dont like it....but i know they dont get it, ya know. hopefully somewhere along the way ill meet or convert somebody who can get into similar stuff as i.

don't ever try to convert people to "the sound", that's usually the thing that turns them off. Let them listen to it, and if they want to delve deep into it and be a little more open-minded, then let them.

Mostly alone now, before i had a good buddy that would have nightly sessions with me through shoutcast, we would be quite pumped to present our new findings to one another. He would dj for a bit then i. Anywhere between 4 to 6 hours worth of good tunes. We amassed a gigantic "favorites" collection, spanning all genres. He has since contracted MS and is unable to. Point being I've attempted to expose people to it but it doesn't seem to catch for some. Seems at least for me i got a taste and wanted to see "just how far the rabbit hole goes" and i won't ever stop.

Multiple Sclerosis, and contracted is a strange way to describe it more like he was diagnosed with it.
