I have an alarm clock program on my computer that uses my MP3's as my alarm, randomnly selected. Today I woke up to "Highway to Hell" by AC~DC.

That's a great idea.
I don't really wake up to anything, I save my music for afternoons and evenings usually.

Why didn't I think of this? I probably wouldn't be as grumpy if I had tunes in the a.m. It sure would beat that pesty buzzing alarm clock noise.

Only three times?
At least 8 here.
Bad habit.

I know we have a thread for this somewhere, although I can't seem to find it...
...in any case, anything by Merzbow, Whitehouse, Peter Brotzmann, Masonna, Cecil Taylor, Flying Luttenbachers, Napalm Death, Melt Banana or Venetian Snares should do the trick for most people...

I am trying to get out of that routine. I find the more snoozes, the tireder I am.
So, for a while I set my CD player to play Where The Streets Have No Name. I just love the intro...
After I got bored of that, Good Morning by the Beatles. Ha ha...classic.
But now I just have it set the good old FM radio.

If I heard any of those artists on my stereo I would just stay in bed and enjoy the music
I usually wake up to pop ( that's playing on the radio ). Works well cause I have to get up to turn it off.
