I saw Rush in the late 80's, Queensryche back in the early 90's, The Eagles about 2001 and Pantera about that same time (2001). They were probably the best shows I've seen. Top notch soundwise and technically speaking.

Even though I´m not the biggest fan of their music:

Travis in Baden-Baden, Germany, september 1999.

Quite a few concerts I´ve been to were rather disappointing, such as Whitesnake (w/ Steve Vai) or Gary Moore.

Why were they disappointing?

The best (and only) concert I have been to is Red Hot Chili Peppers in Hyde Park this year. The atmosphere was amazing, and it completely lived up to my expectations. They are my favourite band.

The fact that James Brown was supporting was also great :-D

I'm so jealous of all these great shows. Sucks to be born in 1986. Well my favorite is probably Coachella 2004. All these groups were amazing:
Broken Social Scene, Prefuse 73, Kraftwerk, Stereolab, Basement Jaxx, !!!
and heck Radiohead, Pixies, Air, Flaming Lips weren't too bad either.
I really like the show Buckethead puts on. I've seen him a few times.
Oh and I can't forget the Playboy Jazz Fest: Femi Kuti, Robert Randolph, Herbie Hancock, and Bela Fleck

The best concert I went to - well it was 1982 and I was 17 and was not looking forward to going - My husband has always been a big fan of the Rolling Stones and at that time - well I was'nt..... more into The Police and such like - anyway was a great concert Mick Jagger was brilliant strutting his stuff on a crane above the crowd at Wembley Stadium - secondly I went to see Muse (more to accompany my daughter - they were fantastic, I was the Red Hot Chilly Peppers at Hyde Park in the summer - That was really good - it is hard to chose the best.

B. B. King, Glasgow SECC, I think it was 2003.

I was totally unprepared for the effect this man's guitar playing would have on me. I knew he was good; I didn't know I'd be bursting into floods of tears practically every time he played a note. Embarrassing, really, but I had one hell of a good time.
