Pinback's new album is also pretty outstanding, it's great to see them finally getting the attention they deserve. As for The Album Leaf I can't get enough of 'Over The Pond' from In a Safe Place. Probably my favourite track on the album.

The new pinback is very nice, but I guess most of it is slightly more downbeat than I like from Pinback. I mean, I've been listening to it as I sleep.

If you like any of these folks (Pinback, Sondre Lerche, Album Leaf) do yourselves a favor and listen to Arcade Fire's "Funeral" and Q and not U's "Power". You'll be so glad you did.

Well, I have some crazy final project due on the second so it looks like there will be no Pinback show for me. Sondre Lerche on the second will have to do.

I don't like either, but if you do a quick search of Ticketmaster, you see that Sondre Lerche is also at the Troubadour on Dec 2nd. You can see both, if it means that much to you.

According to Ticketmaster, Skinny Puppy is playing tomorrow night at the House of Blues Anaheim. Social Distoration is playing The Wiltern LG on the 28th, 29th and Dec. 1st. The Skinny Puppy is the last night of their tour. Might be the last one they ever have.

The Exploited (I didn't even think they were still alive and together) and Total Chaos (I heard they broke up) are playing at the Galaxy on Dec. 3rd.

well... I missed Pinback, but Sondre Lerche's show was incredible. Now I need to get some scalped Phoenix tickets...
