check out the thread entitled "U2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" in the rock forum. ihav heard the album, and it is amazing. 5/5, best album of the year for me [beating out Manic Street Preachers and my beloved Moz].

yeah, iam. You Are The Quarry is a great album- one of the best this year- but it is not his best nor is it the best of the year. ithink U2 take it for me.

I just bought How to dismantle an atomic bomb. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but it's not in the same league as their top-albums.

Does the rest of the album rip off old Kim Wilde songs?

U2 has done the album of the year, for my money. I'm absolutely loving it.

(While SMiLE remains my "favorite" album of the year, it's really not of these times.)

I love U2 no doubt about it. But as radio friendly as it is, I don't think Vertigo was a good choice for a single

Well, what else on the album would make a single in today's radio market? I would say "Vertigo" is the best single they have on the album...but it's also the worst song on the album. Everything else is much, much better.
