My brother says it was a load of bollocks. He has the same taste in TV as me.
I mean how stupid a concept is it anyway? You had Mods and Rockers in the 60s whos music tastes were opposite, the late 70's Punk was a million miles away from the physcadelia and prog going on in the early 70s, and the early 80's Two Tone was a country mile from the music played at the end of the 80s. How can you slap one artist on a decade?
And you know throughout the late 60s, the biggest selling form of music was supposedly reggae, because its Skinhead admirers couldnt obtain the music any other way. And thats not even a British musical style!

My choices would have went like this from the list of ten for each decade,
1950s - Little Richard
1960s - James Brown
1970s - Stevie Wonder
1980s - Michael Jackson
1990s - none of them.
