i need to give it a 'full' listen. from what i've heard, it seems more doom metal-ish at times, like influenced by sunn o)))...maybe i'm wrong?

it was total lustmord to me as far as rich atmospheric work is concerned, and the guitar work actually sounds like what I had hoped Pigs of the Roman Empire would sound like. I'm really excited about a new Lustmord full length and the strength of this 'single'.

well check out sunn o))) if you get the chance. it's like long droney doom metal without vocals (usually) and if there are, they're very low key.

...and you say that 'lustmord' is a single, yet it's over 40 minutes in length. a long single if you ask me

Well the little write up that was provided with it said it was an extented version of a single track from the upcoming full length album, and it holds together as one long track though there are a number of different parts to it.
