hey now, in the old days (before you came around), I use to be active in the General areas quite a bit, but since then a lot of my "compadres" have left and the newer bunch, well...I don't know. I do agree that most of my posts come in this forum because it IS my specialty and besides, I moderate this place
I know a lot of my posts don't have substance, but some of them do. And since you assume most of my posts are electronic related, it shows that you actually pay attention and come to this forum often
I have a wide array of listening tastes. I just choose to discuss what I know "the best". It's the music I love and cherish and can't get enough of (unfortunately it may eventually cause me to go bankrupt ).

like bill walton would say, the value of equinox contribution to the idm and ambient community is enormous in the area where it matters the most, the base, the fans community worlwide...

Robert Rich & B. Lustmord: Stalker
(Fathom/Hearts of Space)

Is this your way of saying, that I chased you away from the General areas?

Who said your posts lack any substance? I said, that I check this section of the forum. It's just, that what I listen to, can go in here or in the Experimental. Though it is interesting seeing you get excited when I do actually post in this forum.

Please never ever compare me to Bill Walton again
I can't stand the way he calls NBA games...I wish he would just shut the hell up, but at least I think you were trying to give me a compliment...
...I think

Actually, in a thread that was created about a year ago about "the best ambient album of all time", this was the majority pick when it came to Dark Ambient. Brilliant soundtrack to Tarkovsky's film.

Well, I get excited because you're very knowledgeable in a lot of aspects of music and I enjoy intelligent advice/conversation.

Well, when you don't use smilies, it's a bit hard too. It's fine though

I agree about Walton and announcing, but keep in mind he had a major stuttering problem growing up. He probably said 2 words in 10 years.
Now to make up for all those years of avoiding having to speak, he can't shut up.

yeah, I think Sly Stallone had the same issue before his acting days. I'm glad he stuck to acting rather than directing...his direction in films is horrible...
....ok, now back to the Ambient albums
