Great Ambient album from Mathias Grassow and Rüdiger Gleisberg

Sorry to be boring, but going with a classic:

Brian Eno - "Discreet Music" (2004 Reissue) [Album]

hey man, that's not boring! I believe this was Eno's first album to be considered an "ambient" album. I believe he had a bad car wreck and while lying in bed overheard some classical music playing at a very low volume. The fact that he couldn't turn the music up had an everlasting effect which caused him to produce "discreet music"

Yep, predated "Ambient 1" by 3 years.

now that's a pretty good release. I have that one, and "one" and a couple others that I can't think of right now. He's overall a great artist.

I'm getting some really new ideas here for listening possibilities. In the past I've had a time in finding music from this genre. Thanks for the eye-openers and keep them coming.

really? what i would do is go to the top and "search" for the term ambient in the electronic section. I'm sure you'll find a lot of good things that have been mentioned over the past year or so

While I appreciate you shedding light on this subject, I didn't mean I had trouble finding suggestions here in this forum. I'm well aware of the search feature and it works great. I meant that in general, the people that I have encountered have generally suggested the same things that everyone suggests with no new or fresh ones to be found. Here, I've found some interesting ones thanks to all of you.

Just search through Equinox's (I really need to think of a nickname for him) Billion posts and you should find what you need. I think about 99% (or it just seems that way) are Electronic related posts.
