I saw this thread from the start. However, unlike my man Seba, , I waited to see if it was going to be worth all that effort and resulting usual love letter pms.

If you must know, I check out all the interesting threads/posts.

Well you're a good kid and I like you, but WTF comes to mind a good deal of time. The entire pop section alone is a major WTF.

I didn't realize that listing Beethoven's 9 Symphonies, 6 Bach Preludes, 3 Bartok Concertos, and 27 Piano Concertos by Mozart, could ever be considered concise?

And you mock my lists?

I didn't put those there as selections that I would actually listen to, but "essentials" for people who do actually want to get into pop music as most know it, and those are definitely classics of a crappy genre...

So I decided to include a few boxes here and there, so sue me. (( as you often say, they count as one item ))

Yes, that is what I say, but you're not me. You're the one whose definition of concise mocks mine.

You can allow me one moment of excess, can't you?

You still haven't said what you think of the list as a whole.

I would suggest changing Autechre's Tri Repetae on Seba's list with LP5 instead. Even though you can hear the new autechre sound developing on Tri Rep, I don't think it's evident enough.
The other choices I agree with a lot, as they are all defining moments in electronic music history. The only problem is that there could easily be albums included for the subgenres techno, house, jungle etc. as well, so any selection of 5 albums isn't really enough to describe everything that falls under the electronic music umbrella.
