everytime I turn on the radio and hear something by godsmack, I always think, hey wait this is a kickass tune, then whatshisface starts singing and I'm like poop, it's just f*cking godsmack again. And then I turn it off, quickly.

Dave Mustaine wrote Mechanix while he was with Metallica, and it evolved into the Four Horsemen. The Mechanix that appears on Megadeth's first album is basically the Four Horsemen sped up and with different lyrics.
So, actually they almost are the same song.
