A Shocking Hobby?!

Skapn Flow by E.O.G. reminds me a lot of Speedy J's Shocking Hobby...please let me know if you think the same...i think it's so similar..similar enough of course to post something about it. SKapn Flow -> E.O.G.

p.s. - keep clicking ahead on the graphic to keep the track going...

see, i heard this from a lot of people but found it to be boring. It's a decent album, but nothing like I expected. I know this was where his sound changed a bit (for which eventually sculpted the brilliant album 'A shocking hobby'), but it just doesn't move me like it's successor did.

speedy j did some ambient albums with namlook, and i heard they might come up with 2 more.

loudboxer is only good when you give up playing intelligent music to your friends at home.

Loudboxer was one of the most disappointing musical releases ever.

Not that it was awful per se, but how the fuck do you follow the genius of A Shocking Hobby up with a generic percussive techno album?

yeah, pp.nmlk is quite good, but his ambient solo albums under his given name Jochem Paap on FAX are brilliant.
