hmm.. i like in a silent way a lot, but i never thought it came anywhere near bitches brew in any respects.. musicianship, production, compositionally (which i guess goes under musicianship in this case). it feels like a fully realized version of some of the ideas on in a silent way

most cats take Aghartha over Panga from 75? I think. I thinks this was his last gig befor the dark years and the sad comeback of da man with the horn. Argharth is a bold pick but Miles funk stuff has been way influentional in the downtown sound. Skethes is the most uniqe of the big 3 wtih gil and when I hear early Woody shaw I feel that infuence so I always dig SOS too.

Naw I didn't. Thanks for the reminder. Yeah so I talked big but I guess I just don't know how to do only 3. Of the biggies, must haves, for today, this hour, I will pick Cookin, Porgy & Bess, and KOB. Not as great, sorry I didn't know you asked for PERSONAL taste when I first posted, and not really more of a "favorite" but less know 3 I am digging today, Blue Moods, a bit trance like but cool, Milestones, that album crakels, and the 1960 live in Sweeden Trane leaves, Sitt enters, and ,miles and company smoke. Hell I'd have a hard time with my fave 30.

I love Miles so much that this thread is near impossible.

Anyway, here is my attempt:

Kind of Blue
Miles Smiles
Sketches of Spain
