i'm sorry but i feel dirty just looking at this thread.
but i did download some mp3s over the weekend. a whopping 12 songs.
a bunch of esthero that i can't find on cd yet (mainly because they're collaborations with other people)
3 collaborations between king britt and ivana santilli because i've been meaning to check out her music (i did enjoy bass is base quite a bit back in the day - holy crap the king britt stuff sucks ass but the one track i found just by herself is very nice in a mellow jazzy way). lastly, 2 tracks by the guess who (rain dance / green eyed lady) and 2 versions of benny and the jets (elton john's original and the beastie boys version).
i'll probably be picking up a guess who comp next time i buy cds which will probably be later this month when estero's new ep is released. santilli is on an indie label and isn't whiny guitar based rock so she's pretty hard to find out here.
