Though I'm not a great fan of pop music, I do enjoy the occasional foreign pop track. For example, "All The Things She Said" by Russian lesbian couple T.A.T.U.? Pretty good. And Korean pop singers like Boa, or Chinese groups like F4, or Japanese alternative artists like Gackt.

What do you think of foreign pop artists? Better or worse than American idols?

The best pop album I own is Good Humor from St. Etienne. so good that I bought multiple copies and gave them as xmas gifts few years back.

hey Nautikal020, what does F4 sound like? do they sound anything like Lazy Motha ****as? hongkong pop music sucks big time in general. but lazy motha ****as got some really funny lyrics going. but too bad that they totally take the styles from beastie boys and limp bizkits... otherwish, i would like them much better.

That video of the russian girls reminds me of that sigor ros video a bit. I guess it is because they are both about teenage homosexuality.

Blur is pop? I always thought they tended more to Alternative ... but then again, I haven't listened to them in particular, so I guess you're the man on the subject, panbient.

F4 is a group of 4 Chinese (or was it Taiwanese?) guys. Like your average boy group, really. I just enjoy the Mandarin in their music, because the language is softer in tones than English, making for some easy listening when I don't feel like metal. They have a sitcom that's supposed to be pretty funny, like 2gether had one, and SClub7.

Yeah, that's a real gender-bender right there I think the eyes are very feminine, but then the rest is masculine ... And that is one of his more normal pictures, too! Most of the time he dresses like a vampire and paints his face white like a powdered donut!
