Sum41 - Chuck

First off, I hate Sum41!
I would never buy a Sum41 album.... NEVER....until I heard "We Are All To Blame"....I let out a loud FUCK....because like I do with Blink182 I tell people how much I hate them....but the first video from Chuck was "We Are All To Blame" and damnit... it is a darn good song...but a terrible video...

Some of the tracks are mixed by Andy Wallace...now Im not sure what that means...but Wallace has mixed for a few bands namely Nirvana.

I'm going to give Sum41 a good review... this might be for me thinking the CD would totally suck....but it didn't. It has some of your classic Sum41 type tunes, but they almost take a left turn from what made them popular (Fat Lip). I approve of this left turn though.

The tracks like "Pieces", and "Some Say" take a large step away from typical punk rock, including today's punk rock.

The lyrics have expanded from their "crash my own house party because nobody came" days.

Standout tracks: "We Are All To Blame", "Some Say", "Pieces".

Sum41 - Chuck: 7/10
