The UK band?

They are really fantastic!

Tangerine Dream their first effort is my favorite record today. You can get a copy from Freak Emporium , they'll also will be selling their second album, Faintly Blowing, soon.

Ah just got it yesterday, though I still haven't heard all of it yet. So far it seems to be a really fantastic album (Tangerine Dream), can't wait till I have the time to finish it!

Tangerine Dream, Psychedelic? They had vague connections to it in the early days, but their space ambient work of the mid '70s is more in line with avant-garde electronic music than anything rock based...

One was a band and one was the title of an album... I think that has caused confusion...

Timeless, melancholic, sealed off in a universe of its own, yet reaching out to any who delve within. 'Marianne' absolutely haunts you, especially at the track's climax when the singer holds her drowned body in his arms... Gorgeous vocals, Quicksilver Messenger Service-like psychedelic guitar leads. An immense album and you NEED to hear it!
