i agree that they don't just throw in filler tracks..but you have to agree that not all of their material may be worth of listening..it could be a learning experience, but perhaps not a quality listen..otherwise we'd have many more albums to listen to.

as ive said before, they are releasing material under other monikers (in addition to the GESCOM projects and such). because they've reached a sort of focal point, in my opinion, i think we'll have a span of time where we might not hear from them again, or perhaps this is the end..i really see Draft as a sort of "Hail to the Thief" record..i think they're just relaxing about their style and positions musically. they've culminated so many interesting styles together and now they're just waiting for an idea.

I hope we will get another Draft like album as I really liked it. Of course, if they do anything even crazier that might be good too, but I'd be satisfied with just another one in the same style as Draft.

Draft, I accept I gave up quickly on this one, is sort of the 1st dissapoinment from AE.

I feel they should come up with something really different to what they been doing since Confield.

I don't have the British one. Can you upload that hidden song?

I don't have the British version either, and besides, I heard it wasn't all that special anyway so I never purchased it

There's a million things you could do...

Incorporate carribean funk.

If you mean in the same direction, then yeah, as far as abstract sound sculpture goes, they may have started to paint themselves into a corner. But.. Autechre have been known to do the unexpected before, so it shouldn't be a surprise if they do this time.

I think Draft 7.30 was their attempt to make something cohesive out of the intense sonic manipulations they'd worked on while making confield.

That's probably why it didn't feel that different.
