Italian/Spanish love song
Hey people, I'm new to this forum and I figured I'd start with saying hi... so hi!
Okay so here's the deal. Normally I'm deep into metal, but now I'm searching for a song that has been tormentng me, but I hardly know anything about it.
You see, this summer while I was staying with my dad in Germany I've been having a relationship with an older woman. I'm 18 and I met this 26y/o Italian stewardes. Fell in love, did the smooching, had a great time... but after a while of no contact (I went back to the Netherlands) she found an other guy and broke up with me. So... now the I-hate-you-and-want-you-to-die period has passed, I suddenly remembered something. We used to go to a lot of Italian restaurants, and in almost every one of them they played a beautifull song, and she'd always say she loved the song. And a few days back I found myself thinking about her, and that song, and I just wanna hear it... a lot.
So, this is what I know. The song is sang by a woman, it's pretty fast paced but still a bit classical. The woman has a stunnig voice, with lots of highs and lows (sorry, I'm no music expert, so high and lows it is). And its about love, and not a happy one at that I believe. I'm not Italian so I didnt understand the lyrics, but I think it might be called something as te quiero. But that's spanish isnt it? But it could be spanish as well, since she knew a lot of languages, being a stewardes. Anyway, it must be a famous song, because it was played so often in restaurants. Googling or looking on Kazaa didnt get me very far (te quiero/I love you doesnt exactly give a very specific search result) so I was hoping maybe somebody Italian/Spanish would come by and could easily point it out.
I'm very open for suggestions.

Vivo per lei - Andrea Bocelli (and Laura Pausini)
I assume that one is
It sounds like spanish (and I should know that) but it is in Italian so maybe that one is...
plus it is a very famous song so maybe that is the one
