oh Pete, I think you'll find a new best friend here! his name is Chris, he might swear a bit, but if he really tries, I believe, he is capable of being friendly too...

anyway, I like the Smiths, especially The Queen Is Dead... Meat Is Murder failed to get a good grip on me, but that could have been due to the poor state of the copy I borrowed (somes songs wouldn't play completely anymore)

imight hav a few views- ha.

Meat Is Murder is an excellent album, though it doesnt hav the consistency of The Smiths' two greatest albums, The Queen Is Dead and Strangeways, Here We Come. While much of the album is simply amazing, there are two tracks that let down a little- 'Well I Wonder' and Barbarism Begins At Home'. there now terrible songs, but theyre average at best to Smiths' standards.

I like The Smiths... alot. I made my first Smiths purchase two days ago, "Srangeways Here We Come". I know that isn't the best and probably not a good place to start, but the only other ones they had were greatest hits albums and stuff. I like the one I got ALOT, I like every song on it and I am getting some Morrisey soon too. Any sugestions for a Morrisey cd?
