I've never came to the idea to listen belgian rap. with what sort of hiphop u can compare it.
i wanna check it tonight and download some tracks

But russian hiphop is also very nice.

well this a rap group who rap in French, they're from Liège/Luik and have members with all sorts of different origins, they did a cover of Jacques Brel's "Le Plat Pays", which is probably one of their best known songs together with "La Sonora"... I don't know much about rap myself, so I find it difficult to compare them to other bands... this is their site, it's in French, but I guess you'll still be able to find the audio clips...

as for rap in Flemish/Dutch I wonder if that is interesting to non Dutch-speakers, because I've seen some Swedish rap here on tv and it looks just ridiculous... though it's possible that the bands that I saw clips of are just not very good and that there are others who are better...

there's a Flemish rapper Krewcial who's recorded his new cd with some international (read American) hiphop people, he's got a rather funky style and what I've heard from him was not bad... this is his site, where you can listen to some of his music...

the songs on their page sounds really nice. thx alot for the links and i think i will search some more songs of them.

since iam member of radiomute, i found alot of songs of bands wich are very nice, but unknown for me. i find this forum really nice and the community too.

I'm from Holland and i think dutch rap sucks!!!
for nondutch people it will be even worser cause dutch hiphop doesnt have good beats.. so.. and no good sound ... no good voices!!!
