yeah, i've noticed that most label sites don't update as frequently as some of the blogs, myspace pages, etc, do. Hell, the Silentes label hasn't even updated in about a year. They have at least 5 albums that have been release since the last update.
...but then again, maybe some labels don't like to put information like that up way ahead of time since money seems to be an issue when it comes to releasing electronic albums and ya never know if an artist is gonna back out or just not have the motivation to finish a project.
I've seen so many labels announce that a certain artist is gonna come out with a cd and then you never see it.
Some examples would be:
Sohcahtoa on n5md. It was listed all the way back to 2005 that he was suppose to come out with something and never did.
Bit Meddler was suppose to put out the first album on Coredump (rip Jay Jedicka), but he never did as well.
...but I must say the biggest of possibly all time is the Jega album "Variance" on Planet-mu. This album was announced back in 2001 and hasn't seen the light of day. It was listed as catalogue number 024 and is already up to 181. So that tells you exactly how old this release is. It again popped up on the news site to be released back in the summer of 2006, but again, was never released. A bootleg copy of the supposed album hit soulseek back in 2004 and I got a copy and wasn't terribly impressed. Whether it was the real thing, I doubt it, but I do have to say this. The first track on the soulseek copy was 'Aerodynamic'. Jega released this song in 2006 on the Planet-mu compilation 'Sacred Symbols of Planet Mu', but was remastered, remixed and sounded quite a bit different.

Sohcahtoa suffered from exttreme writers block. When he was offered an album he kind of froze creatively. He'd been listed on the n5MD site since late 2003 and Mike decided he had to let go because he hadn't really recieved anything from him in those 3 years.
If the material doesn't appear, it can't be released.

yeah, I understand...that's kinda what I was trying to explain. I guess the same maybe Damiak? I know his album might be finished, but he's supposedly been working on one for awhile. I loveeee his style though. I've been waiting for a full-length ever since I heard the 7" on n5md and the tracks on "Konstrukt: Ions".

Last time I saw him (Jan last year) he was wanting to move in a more mum direction. Dunno if he did though.
