I imagine because it's been postponed a few times.

I'm looking forward the new Squaremeter album "frozen spark" on Ant-Zen.

Well, there's never really been a 'set-in-stone' date. They've all been rumours. Once the word got out, it was suppose to come out on the 29th of February, 2004, and then some people said June 9th (the name of one of their songs), and then was supposedly up for fall/winter release...

...now it's nearly May 2005 and no word on anything.

When artists do things such as these, it infuriates me. I know it's nothing personal, but if you're going to release something, then fucking release it, or at least give a head's up. I was thinking that they may be doing this to pull more sales when it finally came out, but since it's been pushed off for so damn long, you may have a few people that have lost interest...some including me.

Jega is another artist that has done this shit, for now 5-6 yrs. Now that 'variance' is finally coming out in the late summer, I doubt many people are going to go out and actually 'buy' it.

BOC are Ok, I really don't see why people see them as the second coming of christ though.

I'm looking forward to:

New Mothboy 12" on Ad Noiseam in June/July. Heard a lot of the tracks off it and they're wicked.

I agree as well. I absolutely loved 'MHTRTC' and thought they were the one of the best acts 'at the time' (let me stress), but when 'Geogaddi' came out, I was less impressed and now with this shit, i just don't care anymore.

I was listening Hi Scores recently and felt a bit dissapointed, it wasn't what it used to be.

I believe BOC was a product of the moment, but the value of their music is highly diminished this days.

while i totally agree with all of you regarding BOC, i just wish to play devil's advocate for just a moment.

i recall quite a bit of comments that were negative when venetian snares had news of a new album..."rossz csillag, etc". somewhere along the line of "same ol' shit". i think that he suprised us all with it's release.

so all i'm saying is, there's that slight possiblity that BOC could step up and impress their fans (and foes) with something really nice.
