The samples on the site are pretty funny. Obviously one dimensional, but you've got to hate where you live to truly appreciate it...

nothing new under the sun, but im enjoying Christian Kleine's "Beyond Repair." i remember Josh recommending this to me long ago when i first started listening to Tides. i remember him saying that it was a beautiful release and i must agree that it is very inspiring.

i would compare its nostalgic melodies to that of Ulrich Schnaus'. once again, a Strangely Isolated Place has really inspired me lately as well. ive also been listening to Twoism. i find it even more interesting than my first listen. i really disregarded it for a while, but im glad i put it in again.

merry Christmas to all.

my copies of Erast's Minimissing/GoodaireEP, Team Shade's Burnerism and Quin Yellow's Cyriak Parasole should arrive soon as well. can't wait to explore them! it's raining down here in Florida, but i hope all yall aren't packed in some snow...i know back in Cleveland it is quite deep in snow.

i heard on the grapevine about a new somatic responses release, supposedly january 2005 (on hymen i think) but it doesnt look like that going to happen. i seem to remember that it was going to be devoted in memory of john peel. i was thinking maybe its the "TBA" album on the hymen webpage.

well 'Adverts' was a decent release, but i've never been the biggest SR fan anyway...my friend, an artist by the name of The Magus, loves them to death!

will this be under the Amorphous Androgynous name or under FSOL?

...and will it have the same sound as the last album? that was a very different release for them.
