Yeah, my problem is I'm a musician, and net dj, used to be an on air dj.

There's so much out there that requires no skill or much creativity, or inteligence. I'd listen to anything if it was good.

World is just the only place I find sounds I haven't heard before, and these days where all the really good musicians are.

Hip is just a construct of some old guys in suits at really enormous companies with lots of money for marketing telling the unthinking what is good, and way too many are buying the scam.

I'm a bit of a junky as well, I could buy 3 new cd's a day before I'd be happy.

I always am looking for new good bands.

My quest now is to find the best from as many countries as possible.

Wanted to look into buying some Think of One.

Why are their cd's so expensive?

Is there another place that sells them?

I`m afraid that`s not unusual price for records in Belgium... Certainly not if they`re new and not particularly commercial...

Uz Jsme Doma is actually pretty cheap to get here on amazon.

clamazon.com is what's listed and used to carry Charming Hostess and an odd Urga CD that was mostly Klezmerish, but word has it they got sued by amazon and shut down.

any one knowing of other sources for Think of One, let me know.

They are really good, I found some used copies for 5-10 US.

If you like them, you'd probably like sleepytime gorilla museum.
