N.e.r.d.
These guys have helped out so many other artists lately. I think they're really cool and their album, In Search Of... was one of my favourites last year.
Anyone else share the same opinion or do you think they stink?
Their video clip for Lap Dance was wrong though, wasn't it?!? I liked it but it was wrong!

N.E.R.D are great, though I wish they would stop selling their souls to the likes of Britney Spears.

The Neptunes are a talent but they degrades themselves by working with all these popstars...
I think u guys are getting NERD and The Neptunes mixed up....

NERD is The Neptunes --> They basically just changed their name.
Well the band members have girls doing lap dances with no tops on and they lick their tits etc.
It's pretty much a soft porn video.

There was no real reason why they couldn't continue to be called The Neptunes even if they had an extra member. I think they chose to be called NERD because they wanted to have a fresh start instead of picking up where The Neptunes were at. They could have easily released the album, In search of... with The neptunes on the front instead of NERD.
This is why I said all they have basically done is changed their name.

So you're saying that just because a band picks up an extra member, they can't continue using their excisting name?
