How to wake up&How to fall asleep

Hey everybody, this is quite an egoistic thing that I'm doing, but i think u may help me solve my problem

- I cannot fall asleep
- And when I finally manage to do this, I'm absolutely unable to wake up in the morning

As I am a student, this is hard to keep on going on like that
So i wonder if u could help me advising:

- WHAT IS THE BEST SONG/BAND/TYPE OF MUSIC THAT MAKES U SLEEPY (but in the positive, pleasant meaning, not just something boring..)

-WHAT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAKE-UP MUSIC/SONG/BAND?

Looking forward to hear any ideas
And thx in advance

Try some Jazz. Miles Davis's "So What" works perfectly for me.

Recently:

I listen to the album that Six Parts Seven did with The Black Keys to get to sleep...

I've been listening to Interpol's Antics in the morning... I dunno if it helps to wake up, but that's what I've been putting on this week,

When I fall asleep, I listen to Ships With Sails from The Doors. And when I wake up, I use the same song. So I guess you could say Ray sings me to sleep and wakes me up!....

I always used to listen to "Call of Ktulu" by Metallica years ago to fall asleep. Worked every time

Sleep? WTF is sleep?

J.S. Bach - Goldberg Variations

I have already commented on the history of the GV in this post.

The only reason Seba's list would not wake you up is because your family or someone else is calling/called the coroner. Even than, it's a list that could possibly wake the dead.

Sleep : Syraquil (That would be a pill)

Waking up :
Step 1.
Buy an alarm clock with a radio integrated into it, and then set the alarm to be the radio full blast, now put the radio on a radiostation that you either don't like or is very loud. Now set your alarm to the time you wish to wake up, and put your alarm clock across the room.

Step 2.
Set a second alarm clock with the annoying buzzing sound next to this, to go off about 5 minutes before it, that way if you don't get up for this one you will face the wrath of having the shit scared out of you every morning.

This worked for me for a while, then I actually started sleeping through a few mintues of the noise.
