I don't understand how Kind of Blue is sleep material. When trying to fall asleep, with no other distractions around you, the music really draws you in more than in any other situation during the day, and it's really hard not to start listening to all the detail in the actual record and get so occupied with it that you fail to get any sleep.

I don't know what'll put you to sleep, but the thing that ALWAYS wakes me up is "House of Kaya (Jim O'Rourke Version)" by Merzbow. Any Merzbow song should do the trick, but this one gives you about a 10 second warning before bringing the aural pain.

Can't figure out that one either. Kind of Blue is the last thing I want to listen to if I want to sleep. No matter how many times I have heard it, I can still get lost into it. As well as still hear new things.

But what the hell do we know? And when did we know it?

That one might be too difficult even for the unofficial official translator.

I still say if Seba's list doesn't wake someone up they are dead. It would wake the deaf.
