Yeh, ppl killed themselves after hearing this song?

I've heard many version of this song, it's depressing, but i didnt wanna kill myself though. I'm not sure if I had heard the real original version of it, but i think it's banned after so many suicides. But i donno.

It's a good song, the original one and I even like Heather Nova's version
I recently saw a man do a cover of it, he really sounded like Billie... and he seemed very gay yes...

There is a documentary out there on Gloomy Sunday. There's also a film on it! (Belgian I think). It is very interesting that lyrics were added to the original composition. I liked the lyrics of the German version translated into English. But Billie Holiday's rendition is still the most heartfelt.
