Banjo anyone?

Do any of y'all know anything about banjos? I've got one, dated 1920, that I'd like to find out more about. My main questions revolve around the manufacturer..

I'd sure appreciate any help y'all can give me.

The odds are you would get a better response if you actually asked the question you wanted answered about the manufacturer.

Who knows, maybe your question might even get a few neurons firing in my brain. I might even have an answer.

Okay...the banjo in question is stamped 1920, yet it has no manufacturer name on it anywhere. Is there any way to use the craftmanship itself to determine who made it? What I mean is, are there particular construction methods, or markings, used by specific builders that can help me determine who made it?
