So, What do ya'll think of Reel Big Fish? Personally, i think they totally rock! anyone disagree?

They do totally rock. Its my guilty pleasure, alot of people really dont like them on the ska scene. But i cant resist a decent brass section!

yea I love what ive heard from them. but do they sing that one song that has lk a little bit of techno for the intro then starts out all slow and says lk "i cant make you love me!" then he says "im a big ###### star! o yea!" lol it isnt really a ska song but someone told me thats rbf.

i used to listen to them a long time ago, their first cd i kind of liked but they sound like they never got past the 4th grade with their "fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck......" lyrics and their songwriting kind of sucks too

I think thats the point isnt it? It is lowest common denominator music.

Well, theyre just a band thats gone "Ah fuck it. We can be serious musicians, or just fuck about and make whatever comes out". And some people got to provide the light relief to the absolute quagmire of whiney, depressing, self-obsessed bands that are abundant today.

i dont really like reel big fish but the brass is pritty good i just dont like the lyrics also i think that they sound to american this is not a bad thing but as i am british i find it a bit in your face.
