new afx release

i hear mr james is going back to his roots and ditching the lap-top for the more conventional sounds of analogue equipment.

http://www.rephlex.com/2001releases/...analord10.html

apparently there will be MANY releases in the analord series (hence the big plastic binder). can't wait for new afx myself - anyone else love his early afx stuff? i've got some analogue bubblebath 5 tracks which i love but the 1st one is my favourite afx - whats yours?

never really got into the bubblebath tracks, but i've always been interested in them. i'd like to get a few of those releases one day.

i find that packaging interesting and i am glad that James is going back to his core. it should be interesting and refreshing.

A lot of artists are going back to the old analogue sound. I like this move by RDJ because he was very very good at it. I was a big fan of the AB series. I think my fave is the unreleased AB5. Can't wait to hear what these have to offer.

this is pure speculation from me.....but I stumbled across this a while ago... http://www.thegurufs.net/rephlex.htm and it struck me that in all likelihood, in his sets there, the material between the 20 and 40 min. mark is his Analord stuff. 303, 606, 808, 909 lushness!

I just think it's hilarious that it's called "analord" or Anal Lord
