I don't know, it must be just me but Aphex Twin is one of my least favourite musicians in the IDM scene and Drukqs did pretty much nothing for me.

I can't say why someone else doesn't like AFX but I know I don't like him that much because of his lack of a sense of style. It seems that half the time he's just trying to satisfy his own perverse sense of humor which I find unamusing.

i understand the dislikeness of Aphex, but i still have respect for him (as im sure you all do as well). i never really was moved by anything he did until Drugks, and really it's not my favorite release of all time, but i like its diversity and experimentation. i think he kind of came out of his comfort zone on a few of the tracks.

i do agree with the humoristic implications in his music to be kind of annoying...but i can't help but laugh at Windowlicker.

3months later i realise basically he's releasing a 20 track album that's gonna cost £100 in total..
