I suggest kazaa lite that does not have spy or ad ware

how bout kazaagold? it doesn't include spyware and ads too... i personally haven't tried it out.. anyone knows the difference between kazaagold and kazaalite?

nah, you don't pay a monthly subscription... just a one-time payment... and if you are willing to pay for shipping, you get the cd-rom for free.. but then again, that just defeats the purpose of downloading in the first place..

I think you're also meant to get priority when downloading and files are queued but that doesn't happen often anyway. Does anyone know how much it costs to subscribe?

What p2p software can you get for mac OS?

You can't really get many for the mac. You can get limewire (which totaly blows) but I'm pretty sure you can get ones that connect to the kazaa network....not too sure because I don't use my mac on the net anymore.

Go to www.download.com and go to the mac section and it'll list them for you. I don't think there are any good p2p progs though.

It really depends on what you're using it for. Like I said...I don't use my mac for the net and it's not as good as a pc for word publishing or games. Mac has a lot of good programs, just not a whole lot of new, small ones.
