Thoughts on the Hafler/Autechre recording

i'd just like to know a bit more about these two tracks..

Well, it seems more Hafler-ish than remotely Autechre-ish. I hope you are talking about the first release because a 2nd one is coming out in a few months. I'd like to obtain a copy of this, but it goes for a great deal. You pay 20-30 bucks for 2 3" cd's, yet the packaging is good.

I've heard that it sounds like omnious soundscapes. I haven't heard the actual recordings though.

i'd like to. ive also heard Autechre takes on a more minimal sound while Hafler's take is a bit heavier.

really i think i am captivated by the fact that Autechre applied soundscapish techniques to these takes...im very interested.

well i'm interested to see if they add to part 1, or move on and create something different in their 2nd installment of the series.
