What can I say, my wife has Oasis and Robbie Williams albums. Aside from converting her to the wonders of Sigur Ros, she's a bit of a lost cause.

In my case, my fiancee enjoys some of the music I do; she's not really interested in progressive rock, jazz, avant-garde, electronic music, etc, but she likes my romantic-era classical, folk, blues, and oddly some of my metal (( Opeth is her favorite band at the moment ))...

...I have mentioned that her favorite type of music is J-Pop, haven't I?

In general, she's not really interested in music and rarely listens to it, but she usually doesn't complain when I play something, just to be kind, although I know she really doesn't like it.

My girlfriend and I share some similar taste in music, but shes a bit more into poppy stuff then I am.

My b/f likes the exact same music as me, its awsome. We seem to discover the same music at the same time and like it just the same.

I don't think I could ever live with someone who'd like music I absolutely hate...

does the quality of someone else's musical taste really depend upon how much their tastes conform to yours? what if you hav fookin horrible tastes in music? [iwont name names]
